The 6th Annual Rusty Nail Jitney in memory of Bob Gurd was a fun and successful day.
The event supporting Men's Health Prostrate Awareness during Movember was sponsored by Express Yourself - Kevin Wise and Al Bechard and a Li'l Bit of Everything - Becky Skinner Stoliker. Sixty four curlers took part in the fun event and a total of 130 guests attended the dinner served by the Black Goose with dessert from Li'l Bit of Everything .
John Oliveira, representing the Lambton Sarnia Wallaceburg Prostrate Support Group, gave a very informative talk and presentation about the benefits of early testing and examination. The winner of the 50/50 draw was none other than the Iceman - Doug Teeter! There was an amazing prize table with many winners sporting their false moustaches after picking up their prizes. There were multiple tied teams this year as everyone enjoyed the fun, fast 4 end games! Cathy Lalonde was the Bonus Round Winner of a $200 gift card from Quo Vadis- she knows her trivia. Over $1,000 was raised to support Men's Health Prostrate Awareness.
