Glow-in-the-Dark Pickleball is Coming to the Sydenham Curling Club on July 11!

We're encouraging parents and children to team up and play together, and we'll have a special division just for parent-child teams. We'd love to see as many family teams participate as possible! Children in this division must be at least 10 years old.

Individuals and non-parent/child teams are also welcome to join the fun. Participants in this category must be 18 years of age or older.

This fun-filled event is designed to introduce you to the fastest-growing sport around—with a glow-in-the-dark twist! Whether you're a seasoned player or trying pickleball for the first time, it's sure to be a memorable day of fun, laughter, and friendly competition.

Come and join us on June 19th for a FREE night of Shuffleboard!  Whether you are experienced or new, there is fun to be had...and all for FREE.  Our bar will be open and ALL drinks will be only $5

Sports & Recreation Manager

Sydenham Community Curling Club

The Sydenham Community Curling Club is hiring a Sports & Recreation Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, support programs, and help grow our membership.

Hours

• September–March: 35 hrs/week 

• April–August: 15–20 hrs/week 

Wage: $23 - $26 per hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily club operations and facility needs 

• Coordinate events, leagues, and programs (curling, pickleball, shuffleboard) 

• Maintain website, registration, and member communications 

• Support major events and bonspiels 

• Assist with promotions, sponsorships, and community engagement 

What We’re Looking For

• Strong organization and communication skills 

• Experience in recreation, sports management, or event coordination (preferred) 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Hello everyone!!  Our new online registration is up and running and we are sooooo excited!  This video will walk you thru logging in for the first time and also thru the registration steps.  There will be no paper registrations this season so hopefully everyone will be able to work through the steps.  Please call or email the club if you have any questions at all!
