Are you ready to learn to curl but don't know where to begin? The Learn to Curl (LTC) Program at Sydenham Community Curling Club is your best bet to get you on your way to playing in the leagues!
Learn to Curl is a 6-week comprehensive program that is offered November and December to those aged 14+. You will receive instruction on safety, delivery, sweeping, positioning and game strategy from our certified coaches and experienced volunteers. Game play is an essential part of learning. We will divide into teams to play games so you can experience all the positions. Our main focus is to help you learn the basics and then to improve your curling skills from week to week. Once you have completed the program, you will have the option of purchasing an upgrade to allow you to play in the Friday night social league from January to March and any other league that has availability. This will help to give you the experience and confidence to enter other leagues in the future.
