Welcome to the Sydenham Community Curling Club, where the love for curling unites our vibrant community. Since 1963, we have been a cherished fixture in Wallaceburg, Dresden, Bkejwanong Territory, North Kent, and South Kent, offering an exceptional curling experience for all. With four sheets of ice, a fully licensed bar and lounge, and full locker rooms, we provide a welcoming environment for curlers of all skill levels. As a non-profit community organization, our commitment extends beyond the sport, actively engaging in initiatives that benefit our community. The Sydenham Community Curling Club is looking to hire a Sports and Events Manager. This role is 35 hours for the months of September to March and is reduced to 15 hours a week April through August. There is the potential for more hours with more events such as wedding that will raise this demand. Sport and Events Manager Job Responsibilities:
Our teams representing our SCCC at the Kent Cup - tied for first place with the team from Blenhiem. This year's event was hosted by the Blenheim Club and we were well represented at the event!!
The Women's Bonspiel organized by Charlotte Hogan at the SCCC raised $4650.00 for the Chatham-Kent Women's Shelter. Accepting the donation is Kristine Holland (centre), with Stacey Dobbin our Club Manager (left) and event organizer Charlotte Hogan (right).

Registration is now open online for Pickleball Season 2025! Your $150 membership gives you unlimited play from May-September. Got a competitive streak - find a partner and sign up for Wednesday night!! Registration is easy online.
Don't want to register online - come into the Club on March 7th from 6-9pm and register and have all your questions answered by our Team!
Just a reminder that we have two daytime leagues that members can play in. The Monday League is from noon to 2:00pm and the Thursday League is from 9:30am to 11:30am both days are an 8 end format - just drop in and play - please arrive 20 minutes early to allow for setting up the teams!
This years Weasel Bonspiel was another great success. Organized by our Iceman Doug Teeter, this years event had two fun draws and the winning team was skipped by Randy Bechard with Bruce Campbell, Tina Mapletoff and Nancy Bechard!
Our Club was well represented at the Oil Chemical Bonspiel in Sarnia this past weekend. Jerry Meyskens and his team of Steve Hogan, Bill Verbeem and Jay Rutter came in second out of 40 teams! Yep that’s the same Meyskens that won the Farmers!!
The Epoxy Workshop at the Club was a huge success! Look at the amazing work! Please act surprised when you open these gifts next Christmas!!

What a great Women’s Bonspiel. A fun event won by our own Nancy Bechard, Luanne Berkvens, Alison Vitek and Heather Gauthier. Second place was Betty Meyskens, Tina Mapletoff, Annette Dhaen and Karen Wilbur. and best effort to Sarah Fernandes, Lyndsay Vink, Tara Feddes and Heather Perkins. Thanks to Charlotte Hogan and all the volunteers who made the day a success. And of course our sponsors and prize donations. Thanks Intertec, Karen Wilbur and Enbridge and Realty House Wallaceburg. You may have noticed a pizza warmer on the counter in the kitchen - well we are testing out having pizza available on our league nights - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Hello everyone!! Our new online registration is up and running and we are sooooo excited! This video will walk you thru logging in for the first time and also thru the registration steps.
