Born and raised in Wallaceburg, it was easily decided to make this community my home. While living in Wallaceburg, I completed both my Computer Programmer diploma from Lambton College and Bachelor in Management and Organizational Studies at the University of Western Ontario. I have had to opportunity to work in the Information Technology field for various organizations and currently employed as Chief Information Officer. I also contribute to various boards and committees as a way of giving back to the community that has provided me with much to be proud of.

Celebrating the Life of Ken “Crazy Legs” Murphy

Crazy Legs Tribute

We mourn the loss and celebrate the life of Ken “Crazy Legs” Murphy, who passed away on November 17th. Ken’s vibrant energy and genuine love for life made him a beloved figure at the Sydenham Community Curling Club and throughout the Wallaceburg community.

Ken was famous for his thrilling antics, especially riding curling stones down the ice, a testament to his spirit. His love for making others smile and his dedication to the sport were truly inspiring. His legacy of warmth, laughter, and community spirit will continue to inspire us.

Ken is survived by his loving family, and he leaves behind a community that deeply cherishes his memory. In honor of Ken’s life, donations can be made to the Sydenham Community Curling Club (Little Rocks Program) or the Wallaceburg Community Centre & Senior Citizen’s Club through Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home.

Rest in peace, Ken. Your joyful spirit and memorable moments will forever be a part of our club and community.
