Storytime Partnership with Sydenham Curling Club

Learn to Curl Story Time (2023)

Chatham-Kent Public Library’s Wallaceburg Branch is excited to announce a special ‘Learn to Curl’ storytime in partnership with the Sydenham Curling Club (SCC).

This program will take place at the Sydenham Curling Club, located at 7379 N River Line in Wallaceburg. An interactive storytime will be followed by an opportunity for kids to learn the basics of curling on the ice with an SCC Little Rocks instructor.

The event will take place Saturday, December 2, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am and is directed toward children ages five to eight, but all are welcome. Only children over the age of five, with a signed waiver, will be permitted on the ice. Children who are going on the ice must have clean indoor shoes and a helmet.

Activities will be available for younger siblings or those who do not want to go on the ice.

For more information or to register, call 519-354-2940 or contact your local library branch.
